To add the book to your Goodreads account: Sandra Ramirez said- I loved this book so much, it had me crying in so many different place it was that good. Brett was just so damaged, and Cory fixed him without even knowing he was doing it. Then Cory is hurting and Brett is there to make him all better. They loved and cherished each other so much it was great to see them finally happy. Elizabeth H. I will likely reread this novel.

Shelves: mm I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. Both Cory and Brett are such strong characters in their own right. I liked that Cory is far from a perfect little angel, and that they both helped each other cope with their lack of family support, and love. It was a bit much to I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. It was a bit much to read, and a lighter touch with it might have had the same affect without going overboard.
I liked that there was no instant love, and that Brett never once thought of taking advantage of Cory. A really nicely paced, slow building love story. LOL I keep saying I have no willpower.. The story takes place over 4 yrs I DSP and their constant rebates! Definitely no smut. Despite that they are both wonderful and caring and good people. The situation with the Drummer felt to be almost too much for me, he was really OTT and none of the adults stepped up, and then after the college guys in the bar, no one saw it happening but Brett!
After Brett finally, finally decided to open up and let go, boy did he, I was expecting rainbows and lollipops to fly out of my IPad.. I hope we might get a look into their future
