But I read this book slowly - alongside my regular practice of contemplative prayer - and it was just so good. He strikes just the right balance to make contemporary intellectuals and charismatic Catholics equally at ease. This is a really magical little book. I read a couple pages and put it down for the day. I spend the rest of the time thinking through and processing what I read. I am taking my time to analyze the information and evaluate my feelings about what I have just read.
